Due to a variety of factors including bad press, over commitment of executives and a sales channel who couldn&#8217;t properly support customers, the computer ended up being a short lived retail product.  But despite all of that, User Groups sprung up wherever it was sold and a part of the legacy of the Coleco Adam is the annual AdamCon computer convention.
